Meet our team of Board-Certified Otolaryngology physicians and Doctors of Audiology. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of head and neck disorders including ear, nose, throat and sinus conditions, as well as hearing and balance disorders. Our Doctors of Audiology provide a full spectrum of Audiology services including hearing aid assessment and fitting. Our mission is to provide the highest quality care in a timely manner with excellent patient satisfaction.

Meet our Physicians

Cynthia Chrosniak, M.D.

146_ChrosniakDr. Chrosniak completed undergraduate studies at Harvard University and completed Medical School, Surgery Internship and Otolaryngology Residency at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She served three years as a medical officer in the United States Navy. Dr. Chrosniak is a Fellow of The American Academy of Otolaryngology. Dr. Chrosniak has been in private practice since 1997, and practices all aspects of Ear, Nose, and Throat medicine. She is board certified by The American Board of Otolaryngology and has been honored in Washingtonian magazine as an area “Top Doc” for the past 5 years.

Heather Schwartzbauer, M.D.

146_Dr_SchwartzbauerDr. Schwartzbauer is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed her Residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.  She is a Fellow of The American Academy of Otolaryngology and is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.  She is experienced in all fields of Otolaryngology, but especially enjoys pediatrics.

Nicholas Mehta, M.D.

146_Dr_MehtaDr Mehta’s interests encompass all aspects of otolaryngology with special interests in medical and surgical management of nasal obstruction as well as utilizing the newest techniques in Balloon Sinuplasty and Coblation tonsillectomy.  He was voted a “Top Doctor” in the Washington area by the Washington Consumers’ Checkbook for 2015.  He is board certified by the Academy of Otolaryngology.

Meet our Doctors of Audiology (Au.D.)

Kathryn Balestino-Estes Au.D.

146_kathy3Dr. Kathryn Balestino-Estes received her Doctorate in Audiology from Gallaudet University in May 2002. She completed her Master of Science degree in 1996 from Gallaudet University and her Bachelor of Science degree in 1993 from Radford University in Virginia. She is a member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and has been licensed in the State of Maryland since 2003.

Dr. Balestino-Estes is highly qualified to perform diagnostic testing for balance disorders and impaired hearing.  She especially enjoys the satisfaction of improving the quality of her patients’ lives by allowing them to hear better.

Allyson D. Bull Au-D.

Dr. Allyson D. Bull obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The Pennsylvania State University. From there, she traveled to St. Louis to attend Washington University School of Medicine and graduated with a Doctorate of Audiology. She maintains audiology licenses in Maryland and Virginia.
Dr. Bull is skilled in the full array of diagnostic testing for balance disorders, as well as hearing evaluation, consultation and fitting of hearing aids.
